Current EchoSystem Release (2.6.2010-07-22.0)
The current EchoSystem Release is 2.6.2010-07-22.0. It includes all patches and fixes made to previous versions. Several scalability and reliability improvements are also made to the EchoSystem Server resulting from extensive work with specific customers preparing for large-scale deployments. Upgrades are supported from
all 2.4 and 2.5 versions and includes the latest device update (2.6.19522) and
Personal Capture update (2.6.19522).

Download Current Version (ESS Installer)
|
Use this for new installations and upgrades. The full installer
is specific to the operating system running on the EchoSystem
Server computer. This option applies all updates for EchoSystem
Server, EchoSystem devices and Personal Capture. It requires
stopping the EchoSystem Server while upgrading. This process is
usually complete in less than 20 minutes but will vary based on your deployment.

Supplemental files are those which do not get updated with each release or may be installed outside of the EchoSystem.
Software Included:
Blackboard Building Block 2.6
- Required for seamless login and for all 9.1 and higher systems.
Moodle Patch for 1.8.2 to 1.9.7
- Default, calendar-based publishing for Moodle.
Capture Software 2.6.19522 (Win)
- Use this MSI file only if you need to deploy podium-based capture software with systems such as Active Directory and cannot use the default downloads provided within the ESS. Must use flags to specify your ESS address.
Processor Software 2.6.19522
- Use these files only if you need to deploy processors with systems such as Active Directory and cannot use the default downloads provided within the ESS. Must use flags to specify your ESS address.
Wowza Media Server Pro 1.7
- Install Wowza as a standalone system. You may obtain your license from your Regional Sales Manager.
