The EchoSystem
Scaling Capture Through Integration
Creating a campus-wide plan for lecture capture requires integration with key university systems. Interoperability with technology investments expands workflow options, customizing them to your university’s unique environment.
Publishing:
Every deployment can leverage Echo360’s automated publishing to the Blackboard Academic Suite, Apple® iTunes U, Angel, Moodle and more. System administrators simply indicate where each lecture should be published and the lecture will appear for student playback in an instructor’s course page or iTunes U.
Room Control Systems:
Faculty can start/stop captures manually from within a familiar interface while using visual indicators to check status of their capture. Using REST APIs, universities can integrate seamlessly with leading systems from Crestron, AMX, Extron and more.
Scheduling:
Managing capture schedules across 10, 20, 50 classrooms or more can be a daunting task. Streamline the process by automating the ingest of scheduling data from your institution’s scheduling/timetabling system using the EchoSystem scheduling API.
Security:
The EchoSystem offers presentation-level security via LDAP and Active Directory and the ability to authenticate users.
